ISO 9001:2008
Since Acorn was founded in 1994, we have operated to written operating procedures. Employees are carefully trained to perform all functions and the training is recorded for each person.
In 2003 we started the process of ISO 9001 certification. We worked with consultants for eight months, reviewing and strengthening our Operating Procedures and Quality Control system, and in the following year we were audited and awarded the certification.
We are audited annually for compliance to standards by the awarding body, QAS-International in the UK.
Even so, many of our clients choose to conduct their own audits of our premises and processes, and we are pleased to welcome these visits.
