Q: Can we get access to our files at any time?

Yes

Q: How are our files stored?
A: We use a computer controlled random access system.

Q: Can we come to the Acorn warehouse or do you deliver?
A: You may visit the warehouse during working hours. We also provide deliveries several times a day, as well as an out of hours service.

Q: When is the bar-code applied?
A: We supply bar-codes whenever you place an order for boxes. As each box is filled you apply the bar-code to it.

Q: Our files are already boxed. Do we have to re-box to use Acorn’s service?
A: No. We accept any record storage box provided it is in reasonable condition.

Q: Can we seal the box?
A: Yes. You can use your own seals or we can provide them for you. When a box is sealed we cannot deliver individual files, but we will deliver the whole box to you.

Q: How do I know what box any given file is in?
 
A: The client normally keeps an index of what is in each box. However we can arrange to do this for you.

Q: Do you supply storage boxes?
A: We supply a range of document boxes, tape boxes, and blueprint tubes which cover
almost any requirement you are likely to have.

Q: Do you collect and store back-up tapes?
A: We store your back-up tapes and disks in our fire-rated vaults. We also collect and
deliver these items to a schedule agreed with the client.
